About Me My Family My Girl My Golf Career My Favorite Sites My E-Mail
I was born on November 24, 1975 in North Bay, Ontario Canada. I was raised playing hockey and rooting for the Greenbay Packers. I took up golf competively at the age of 13, and have been playing ever since. I am the youngest of four children to my parents Bob and Judy Dickson. I am a down to earth kind of guy, who loves hockey, golf, Greenbay Packers, Italian food, and enjoy working out. My girlfriend, Avery, describes me as a goofy, beautiful, sweet, and charming young man that has a lot of talent. I think that sums me up.

If you asked anyone who knew me well, they would say, "Chris Dickson loves his family." My family is very dear to me. We are a close bunch, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Being so far away from home is hard, but not when you know how much support and love you have back home. What can I say, I have the best family ever and I love them all very much!

My girlfriend's name is Avery Janae Litton. Avery, "what a girl", she is a bit on the goofy side but she says I am too. Avery is not only my girlfriend but she is my best friend too. She keeps me laughing with her little ways, but she keeps me in line when things are going hard with school or golf. Avery is always there to give me confidence in whatever I do. I am going to miss her a lot when we go are different ways next year, but I know we have to follow our dreams. I will be thinking about her all the time.
I first took up the game at 13, when one day I decided to take out my dad's clubs. Since then I have been playing competively. I have done pretty well for myself, and I have come to really love the game. My parents really helped me become the player I am today. They would travel with me around the states and Canada to many different tournaments. I accepted a scholarship to Florida A&M University, but then for personal reasons decided to go back home. A year later I transfered here to McLennan Community College, where I have enjoyed myself very much. I plan to transfer again in the fall to Texas Lutheran University to play for them. I will finish my collegiate golfing career their at TX Lutheran, and then plan to qualify for the Canadian Open. And, then hopefully one day qualify for the PGA Tour.
